空洞です ー ゆらゆら帝国 [updated]

It's so good. And the lyrics make it even better. I'll try to do an ok job at this.

I'm a cave - Yura Yura Teikoku

My heart, you stole it.
I'm a cave, a huge cave.
Without leaving anything behind, you stole it.
I'm a cave, interesting...
Stupid kids screwing around, running right through. [1]
I'm a cave, a huge cave.
It's fine. Go on in everyone, through the hole. [2]
Go ahead. I'm a cave.

For some reason there's nothing serious in the city.
That's the mood, the easy-going mood.
We're searching for meaning; nothing is meaningless. [3 updated]
That's the mood, kind of bewitching...
I want to meet you in a twisted alley [4]
That's the mood, the sweet mood. [6 new]
Someone try to taste it! I wanna dance. [5 updated]
Now go ahead. It's the mood.

My heart, you stole it.
I'm a cave, a huge cave.
Without leaving anything behind, you stole it.
I'm a cave, interesting...
Stupid kids screwing around, running right through.
I'm a cave, a huge cave.
It's fine. Go on in everyone, through the hole.
Now go ahead. I'm a cave.
A cave.
A cave.
A cave.
A cave...

Note:

[1] I'm not sure what the meaning of these kids is. I guess in a way I can understand that feeling where people are doing whatever the hell around you and it's like it means nothing. Goes right through you. Anyhow it seems clearly that they are running through the gaping hole in his chest where his heart used to be.

[2] I'ts more like, "go through, inside the hole" but that doesn't really make sense in English.

[3] I couldn't really decide how to do this. I've actually seen subs for this song before, in Love Exposure. I'll see that movie again sometime, but in the meantime, I might have translated this wrong. I don't really think, "I'm searching for meaning, but there aren't meaningless things" makes more sense? Maybe I just have no idea what I'm talking about :( [updated] Haha, I think this is better now, maybe?

[4] "complicated" I figured "twisted" sounded more English.

[5] It's literally "taste" or "sample." I couldn't decide what verb I should apply to "Everybody" but went with dance. It could have been both fo them, really, but… [updated] Haha, I fixed this, too.

[6] [new] In the Japanese it's the same word as "easy-going," but since these aren't meant to be sung anyhow I decide to interpret the meaning how I felt like and after the update to note [5], well.

I dunno, there you have it. I really like this song.
